The food was great. on point this is an old schooler that has this restaurant. the desserts was fabulous I love the peach cobbler & lemon cake. this is my 1st time, the server was very good and very helpful. I came on Sunday November 22nd 2020 I came around 5 o'clock in the evening. and I must say I was a overwhelmed by the service the food ordered 2 dinners. but for sure will be back. this person who owns the restaurant is old school because I could tell by the your containers they were Hefty brand. No Juice leak in the bottom of the bag. Just over all Excellent.

Me & my wife Darlene were visiting from Detroit. We highly recommend Dan’s Soul food. Ms. Ma Ma Dan came out to greet us. We felt so blessed. The restaurant was very clean and the food was fresh , delicious with ‘just enough’ size portions. When we return to Chicago for theatre or to see family, we will dine at Dan’s Soul food.
